This park memorializes the boyhood home of Abraham Lincoln, where he lived from ages seven to twenty-one. The park includes: the Memorial Visitor Center, the gravesite of Nancy Hanks Lincoln (Abraham Lincoln's mother) and the Lincoln Living Historical Farm, a typical nineteenth-century farm on the Indiana frontier.
Lincoln City, Indiana | The 1,747-acre park features 10 miles of hiking trails through the region where Abraham Lincoln spent his youth.
Corydon, Indiana | The Battle of Corydon was the only official Civil War battle in Indiana, and the battle site is the only one north of the Ohio River.
Versailles, Indiana | The trail follows the path taken by Brig. Gen. John Hunt Morgan and his Confederate cavalry during the Great Raid of 1863.
Crawfordsville, Indiana | The museum is located in the house of General Lew Wallace and offers lectures on Civil War topics.
Madison, Indiana | Many of this school's students enlisted in the Civil War, and the grounds were used as a training center for the Sixth Indiana Regiment.
